1. First thing to do is collect all your shoes. Look all over the house, in each room, under beds and even in the garage and basement. Match these shoes up in pairs. 2. Now it is time to decide how to store these shoes. What you want to do is separate your shoes into two categories. The first category will be the shoes you wear most often. The others will be the shoes you wear infrequently. If you are having a hard time with this one separate you all the shoes you will wear I the next 30 days. Everything else falls into the latter category. The pairs you have decided you will wear more often need to more easily accessible. The others can be stored away out of sight.

You have many options when it comes to shoe storage in your room and home. Starting with your closet, you can install shelves. You can also purchase a hanging shoe organizer that hangs over a door of attaches to the wall. These are great choices for shoes that you will wear often. For footwear that you will not wear as often clear under bed shoe organizers work very well. These protect from dirt and dust and allow everything to be found quickly when needed.
A shoe storage bench can be very helpful. This is a popular piece of furniture that can be placed in a bedroom, a closet or even entryway for the home. These work best for footwear that you will need more often.

4. The final piece is to getting organized is to change your habits. When your shoes come off they need to be placed in their proper place for storage. This may not come easy at first, but stick with it and you will see in a short amount of time you will become more disciplined.
